As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience, Emily Miller provides therapy and coaching services to parents and families navigating divorce or separation. She is highly trained in developmental approaches, with both her B.S. degree in Human & Organizational Development and her M.Ed. degree in Human Development & Counseling, both from Vanderbilt University. Additionally, Emily has an Advanced Certificate in Family Systems Therapy through Therapy Training Boston. Her experience includes K-12 school-based therapy, college counseling center services, intensive outpatient therapy and private practice.
Emily aims to provide a therapeutic environment that is both supportive and challenging – where clients feel known and understood, while also being pushed to find new ways of viewing problems and healthier ways of coping. She is skilled in numerous therapeutic approaches and is able to tailor interventions to the needs of her clients.
