Post-Doc/Forensic Fellow

SD Family Services is looking to hire clinicians interested in forensic mental health. No experience needed to join our one-year robust training program! Ideal candidates are clinicians with experience in child or family therapy looking to make a shift to forensic mental health, or recent/soon to be mental health graduates (MSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD) or post-doctoral fellows. Candidates will carry a part-time caseload (15 hours/week) which will include individual, couple, child and family therapy as well as child custody evaluations and other report-writing services.

In addition to their caseload, training participants will receive:

  • Weekly group supervision (3.0 hours) by an attorney, social worker, and psychologist 

  • At least 1.5  hours of weekly individual supervision by a licensed psychologist

  • Ongoing training in the field of forensic mental health

  • Salary of $55,000. Participants are eligible for benefits, quarterly bonuses, and a 401K match. 

  • Upon completion of the program, successful participants are offered a full-time position with SD Family Services with a sign-on bonus, a starting salary of $80,000-90,000 annual, bonus eligibility, a guaranteed raise each year, 401k match, and benefits. 

  • Both post-graduate and the full-time positions allow for schedule flexibility and a hybrid-working model.

This job is a forty-hour-week commitment, with 15 hours billable and the remaining hours dedicated to training in the field of forensic mental health. Candidates should be recent graduates of a related mental health field, (MSW, LMHC, or doctorate in forensic psychology, clinical psychology) with an interest in forensic mental health. Limited experience is acceptable.

SD Family Services is looking to hire experienced, qualified licensed therapists on an ongoing basis for our quickly-growing practice in our Canton and Woburn locations.

The ideal candidate would be interested in providing individual therapy for children and adults, family therapy, co-parenting services, and evaluation services.
