Jillian Thrall, Ph.D., is a senior clinician and prior postdoctoral fellow at the SD Family Services. Dr. Thrall conducts child custody evaluations, therapy for court-involved clients, administers psychological testing, and engages in co-parenting and parenting coaching.
Dr. Thrall graduated with her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Pediatric Behavioral Health from Palo Alto University in June 2023. She also earned her masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University and in Psychology from Arizona State University. She completed her predoctoral internship through the Ohio Psychology Internship Consortium at Summit Psychological Associates, Inc. Dr. Thrall provided consultation and served as the mental health liaison for the Akron Municipal Court’s Family Intervention Court; facilitated Domestic Violence psychoeducation groups and Sex Offense treatment groups for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disorders; treated mental health, dual-diagnosis, and offense-related individual clients; and conducted speciality forensic evaluations (Competency to Stand Trial, Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity, Juvenile Risk Assessment, Pre-Employment, and Fitness for Duty).
Dr. Thrall has experience working with children (4-18 years of age) and adults. Her clinical interests and expertise include working with diverse populations of individuals with neurodevelopmental and related disorders, gifted/twice-exceptional children and adolescents, and adults involved in the legal system. Dr. Thrall’s prior experience includes work within community mental health and private practice settings conducting comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, facilitating social skills and psychoeducation groups, and providing evidence-based therapy for a broad range of diagnoses.
Dr. Thrall is accepting cases for forensic evaluations, therapy, and parent coordination.
SDFS does not accept insurance and is an approved CPCS Vendor.
