About Me

Nearly 30 years ago, Reuki Schutt left a successful career in sales to pursue her passion for law. After earning her degree from New England Law School, she opened her practice in downtown Canton—where she has been proudly serving the community ever since.

As a mother of three daughters, Reuki is deeply committed to helping families and protecting children. This dedication is the foundation of SD Law. “We understand that clients often come to us during difficult times,” she explains. “Our goal is to guide them through challenges and, whenever possible, make the process easier.”

Areas of Practice

Reuki combines legal expertise with compassion to represent clients in:

  • Family Law – divorce, custody, support, and co-parenting solutions
  • Estate Planning & Probate Law – wills, trusts, guardianships, and estate administration
  • Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Services – advocating for the best interests of children
  • Residential Real Estate Transactions – purchases, sales, and closings

Her approach is focused on resolving issues efficiently, whether through negotiation or litigation when necessary. “We aren’t afraid to zealously advocate for our clients,” she says. At the same time, she believes in helping families move forward rather than remain stuck in conflict, creating new traditions and healthier ways of being.

Community Involvement

Beyond the courtroom, Reuki is an active leader in the Canton community. She served on the Canton School Committee for 16 years, including three years as Chairperson, and is a proud member of the Canton Community Club, Blue Hills Civic Association, and the Joint Venture Investment Club. Professionally, she is affiliated with the Norfolk County Bar Association, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), the American Inns of Court, and Attorneys Representing Children (ARC).

Personal Life

Reuki lives in Canton with her husband. She treasures time with her three daughters and grandchildren and enjoys staying active in the community she has long called home.
